Larry the Lizard is a children's story book featuring the protagonist 'Larry' and his friend 'Lou-Ellen'.
The book is based around the character Larry as he leads a secret identity life of a superhero. With its simplistic language and colorful pictures, the conventions of the children's book allows for easy understanding of both the storyline and moral.
History The idea was first thought of during the early year of 2006 by authors Patrick Schiller and Max Newton. Patrick Schiller illustrated the book with his graphic design whilst Max Newton wrote the storyline. Following research into children's writing, the first book was created later the same year. The book was titled Larry the Lizard: And the Bank Robbery. The book was first shown to a group of Primary School children and was deemed successful. The duo team plan to continue writing books for the hopefully prosperous series, continuing with there new book, which still in production.
