Lanka University News (, ) is a Sri Lankan online Website that provides Education & Higher Education news and information around the country with Breaking News updates.
“Lanka University News” started as a Blog on June 2, 2011 and later transform in to a website on October 11, 2012.
The current editor is Dinesh De Alwis and he is the Sri Lankan staff reporter of University World News (UWN) which is also an online publication that reports higher education news from a global perspective. Dinesh De Alwis is a freelance journalist and currently contributing to Daily News (CDN) paper at Lake House. Earlier he contributed to the Sunday Observer & Silumina newspapers.
It is published as a daily with original reports by correspondents from around the Sri Lanka, as well as summaries of higher education news, analysis, and features published by reputable websites, newspapers, magazines, and higher education organisations.
