Lake Country Cyclones

The Lake Country Cyclones are a semi-pro football team based in Oconomowoc, WI.

From the website: "More than weekend warriors, but less than professionals, we exist somewhere in the middle; driven by desire, blessed by our families, and playing for the pure joy of the sport."

The Cyclones have been in existence since 2003, competing in the post-season each year, and growing a strong fan base with their success. They play home games at Arrowhead Stadium, located on the North Campus of AHS in Hartland, WI. Players on the LC Cyclones come from as far south as Chicago, IL and north from Steven's Point, WI, east from Milwaukee and west from Madison. Anyone can try out. The roster size limit is 100, with a dress limit of 60, but with a dedicated coaching and support staff, a dedicated PR staff, a dedicated gameday staff, and a practice squad, there are options for anyone who wants to be a Cyclone. Players' skill levels range from high school through arena league experience.

From the website: "More than anything, we want desire. We want players who are itching to be on the field, guys who want the ball in their hands on 4th and 2, men who will willingly throw their body into a pile to stop a 2-point conversion. In short, we look for ganas over skill."
