Lauren 'L.K.' Elliott (born December 16, 1986) is a Canadian author and fitness model who is highly regarded locally, and nationally for her self-help novel, "Confessions of an Ex-hot mess". aside from being an author, Elliott is also a motivational speaker and proud supporter of 'hermission' a local company revolving around the mental and physical health of women in her area, and a columnist for a local newspaper under the title, 'Ask L.K.' Personal Life Elliott was born in Victoria, BC, and grew up in Port Alice, BC. She moved to Vancouver in 2005, to play in the the Western women's hockey league, she moved to Fort Mcmurray in 2007, and married her husband Mike in 2013. she has appeared in numerous fitness magazines including Strong fitness Magazine and Inside fitness magazine, both out of Toronto. Hobbies Lauren participated in the World Ball Hockey Champion ship in Pittsburgh, May 2015. and won bronze as the assistant captain on Irelands team. Elliott spends her free time enjoying transcendental meditation, posting on Instagram (lk.elliot), watching movies with her husband , and caring for her bearded dragons; Kunu and Khaleesi.
