Orland Kurtenblog is a sports blog written by Mike Halford and Jason Brough, sportswriters with The Province newspaper. Halford and Brough also host a radio show on the TEAM 1040 sports station in Vancouver. . The Kurtenblog (often referred to as "The KB") takes its name from Orland Kurtenbach, who in 1970 became the first captain of the Vancouver Canucks. History In 2007, Halford and Brough started their satirical hockey website Orland Kurtenblog. It provided a humorous look at the Vancouver Canucks and the world of hockey.
