Kyle Dillingham is a violinist and Oklahoma's Musical Ambassador. Other honors include being named Oklahoma Ambassador for State of Creativity, Ambassador for the Alliance Francaise of Oklahoma, and Ambassador in Residence for the University of Central Oklahoma. Dillingham, born in Enid, Oklahoma in 1978, picked up the violin when he was nine. Eight years later, he was performing on the stage of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. Achievements * In 1998 performed first world tour with Peter Markes with Dennis Dunham on a tour to promote Oklahoma education through his concept of Musical Diplomacy. * He performed in several universities in Thailand and was asked to perform on the TV program called Top Ten, where he played the "Orange Blossom Special," "Amazing Grace," and a classical Thai song. * He was named in Oklahoma Magazine's top 40 under 40 in 2010 as well as Parkway Publishing,LLC's 40 Under 40 magazine * Was named an Oklahoma Creativity Ambassador * Was named in the Oklahoma Governor's Arts awards receiving the Special Recognition Award. This awards recognizes an individual who has made a unique contribution in support of the arts
