Kuzhinapurath Family is a tradtional Syrian Christian Family in Kerala. It is a branch of the ancient Pakalomattom Family. Kuzhinapurath family has played a pivotal role in the history of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. Kuzhinapurath Eapachen and Kocheetha had seven male children. They were Koshy, Cheriyan, Geevarghese, Thomas, Mathai, Paul and Rev. Fr. John Kuzhinapurath OIC. Fr. John Kuzhinapurath was the first member of the presbyterium of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. The children and grand children of the six brothers form the present family. Most of the members of the family live in and around Omallur, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Fr. Thomas Kuzhinapurath, the former Chancellor of the Archieparchy of Trivandrum and Sr. Ardra SIC, the Provincial Superior of Bethany Madhom are grand children of Thomas. It is a religiously committed family in the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. There are 6 priests and 7 nuns in this family. Mr. K.K. John Kuzhinapurath, son of Koshy was instrumental to establish Francis Memorial Centre for the Mentally Retarded Children at Cheekkanal, Omallur, Kerala. Dr. Peter Koshy (Babu), Senior Deputy Director of National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Trivandrum (NIIST), Mr. John Titus Aero Controls, the President and CEO of Aero Controls Inc. and Saviour Kuzhinapurathu, Chief Finance Officer in UN ICTR are members of this family
