Kungu Al-Mahadi Adam

Kungu Al-Mahadi Adam, is a Ugandan Journalist working with Next media and Radio 4.
He was Born on May 18, 1992, in Mukono district
Background and education
Kungu was Born on May 18, 1992, to Mr. Kassimu Kaganda and Mrs. Sanyu Hawa Nabaweesi at Walubira, Kyabazaala, Mukono district
He is married to Mrs. Atugonza Boniconcilla with whom they have three children.
He attended Bombo Army Secondary School for his O-level and A- level studies. Kungu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Kampala International University, Kampala. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Mass communication at the same university.
Career
Kungu was in 2023 appointed the station manager of Radio 4 Uganda.
While working at Baba TV, he was suspended together with journalist Simon Muyanga Lutaaya for criticizing parliament.
Kungu started working with next media services in 2023 as the morning show host.
Before joining Baba TV, he worked with SoftPower News as a reporter from where he joined Top TV and Top FM respectively.
He quit TOP TV and TOP radio for Baba TV in 2020.
