Kulas

Kulas or Barakula is a fictional character in Dyosa series, a telefantasya being aired by ABS-CBN Network portrayed by Filipino actor Luis Manzano.
Kulas is Best friend and guardian. He is a Gibut(Merman).
Character Background
Kulas, also known as Barakula, is the best friend of Josephine since childhood. As the guardian of Dyosa, he can transform into a Gibut (merman). He also has feelings for Josephine but he is forbidden to love a fellow immortal. He is secretly in love with Josie.
Kulas was brainwashed by Diana but when Magayon found out about his treachery, Diana put him into a eternal sleep. Josephine then brought Kulas into to the core of the ocean to Tandang Minella. Kulas has been brought back to life when Mars took the cure of Pearly Shells.
Love Interest
*Josephine - Kulas' bestfriend, Kulas loves Josephine but she doesn't love him back.
*Diana - The half-sister of Dyosa, Diana loves Kulas but he doesn't love her back
*Tala - a mermaid that loves Kulas but he only likes her as a friend.
*Gorga - A frog humanoid creature that Kulas had to marry for the potion that Kulas needed.
Powers and Abilities
*Kulas is a Kabanua that can transform himself into a Gibut.
*He can breathe underwater and can control any type of liquid form.
