Krystine Walker

Krystine Walker (born January 15, 1974 in Englewood NJ) is an American dancer, singer and DJ.
Krystine Walker has been a performer since the age of three.
She is a known dancer, performer, DJ and actress in the NY underground scene.
Her credits include dancing on various MTV shows and the well known group Shades which was known to choreograph for the likes of Janet Jackson and Salt and Pepa to name a few.
in considered one of the pioneers of the House Dance movement for integrating the essence of what is known as House Dancing and Street Jazz
She was also in a few movies as an extra. Lean on Me starring Morgan Freeman, Rooftops starring Jason Gedrick and 25th Hour starring Edward Norton were some of the movies she was cast.
As for singing, her first release was in 1995 called "Better Love" with super house music producer Jovonn and in 1997 "So Happy" with Cassio Ware.
In recent time Krystine has formed an electro group called The Colony. She goes under the name Astrid Plaen.
She has also DJ'd in NY and NJ for parties like Electro Funk NYC and Tripnotica NYC,.
She has DJ'd for many major record release parties of well known rock and Trip-Hop groups like Garbage, Portishead and Seal.
She has also finished a project with Duce Martinez called Give me a Reason which she wrote and helped produce with producer Duce Martinez. The release will be coming out on Vega Records in fall of 2009.
