Kruk and Kuip

Kruk and Kuip, pronounced "Krook and Kipe,"is the affectionate nickname for current San Francisco Giants broadcasters and former Giants teammates Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper. They, along with Jon Miller, Dave Flemming, and occasionally J. T. Snow make up the Giants broadcast team on KNBR 680 AM and the Giants radio network, KNTV Channel 11, and Comcast SportsNet Bay Area in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Both are former Major League Baseball players, who ended their careers with the San Francisco Giants, although both started with other Major League teams. Krukow was a pitcher who won 20 games with the Giants in 1986, while Kuiper was a second baseman who only hit one home run in the Major Leagues. 'Kuip' is most well known for his play by play calling of the games distinctive home run call. "He hits it high!... He hits it deep!... It is... OUTTA HERE!"
'Kruk' is the color commentator, giving bits of insight on the game and/or specific players.
They were also the play-by-play announcers for the baseball video game MLB 2K5, 2K6, and 2K7, as well as EA Sports video games, MVP Baseball.
During the 2010 season, Kruk and Kuip have used a running tag line of Kuip's creation during tense games, close games, and frustrating games in which the Giants end up hanging on for the victory. The tag line, "Giants baseball: Torture!" was subsequently adopted by Giants manager Bruce Bochy.
