Kristian Walker (21 March 1992 - 26 December 2004) was a 12-year-old Swedish victim of the tsunamis following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. A child matching his description disappeared from a hospital in Thailand a day after the tsunami struck. The child was reportedly last seen with an unidentified foreign man leaving the hospital. It was rumored he might have been snatched by child traffickers. Eventually this theory was debunked, and Kristian was identified among the victims. Kristian was on vacation with his mother Madeleine, brother David, 14, and sister Anna, 7. David and Anna survived and returned to Sweden; Kristian and his mother died in the Indian Ocean tsunami.
