Krishna Premda

Krishna Premda (born 25 October 1975 in London) is an artist who is mainly known for his hip hop work under the name Prem C. He also creates other pieces of "human art" under the names Strange Wolf, Nick Harwood and Jack Door The Phantom.
Early life
Born in London he spent the early part of his life living in India, travailing throughout Europe then going to school of Rivindell in San Francisco California before returning to London at the age of eight where he went to Montem Primary School then Acland Burghley Secondary School.
Prem C
Having worked the highly competitive UK underground scene for years, displaying his lyrical wizardry and off-the-wall style, Prem C has made a reputation for himself with some of the scenes most respected names.
Rapping form a very early age he quickly became involved in various bands at school and recorded at age 14 with Deckwrecka. He then went on to form Hip Hop band A2M at Fabulous Records and performed at venues such as Powerhouse and Rock Garden. A long standing member of the open mic circuit Prem C has performed at various poetry jams, hip hop, drum and base, and charity/community events. His reputation has earned him a spot as a judge at Battle Scars.
From the early Mudlumz shows and appearances at Kung Fu and Breaking Bread, Prem C has performed alongside some of the UK greats including Black Twang, Jehst, Mud Fam, Outdaville, 57th Dynasty, Task Force, Phi Life Cypher, Foreign Beggars, Contact Play, DJ Blakey and DJ Nu-Mark from Jurassic 5.
He has also toured up and down the country with his various crews Underground Alliance ( Sreaming Soul, DDF, Ed Skrein, Stig of the Dump ), Double Vision and Zulu Nation.
He has recorded with many different producers including DJ Yoda, Rawdog,Juliano of The Creators, AKA Mekon from Wall of Sound, Arcane and even US Punk Rock group Madcap in LA to name a few. He has featured on different projects and has two EP’s to his name. The underground classic “Just the Beginning” and the critically acclaimed 5 Senses of Def produced by Dagnabbit from the Foreign Beggars.
Prem C also co hosted with TJ Chill "The Zulu Nation rap Show" on ITCH FM and also hosted his own show on Vision FM called "It Must be the Music" .
Reception
Krishna Premda is mostly known for his work as Prem C and his EP 5 Senses of Def which was generally well received by critics. Most notably in Undercover Magazine were it got 4 stars and record of the month and DJ Magazine where it received 4 stars and The Sure Player. A huge part of this was due to the fact that it was produced by Dag Nabbit from Foreign Beggars who is also known for his work on the Rizzle Kicks track Down with the Trumpets and for its features of Metropolis and Orrafice Vulgatron who are also known for their work with Shlomo, Scratch Perverts' Prime Cuts and also Nosia (amongst others).
The CD version also features the actor/mc Ed Skrein.
Defrattle
Defrattle is the platform/home/brand for all Krishna Premda's music and also others bands and solo artists. Currently the roster includes, Prem C, Chef D, Double Vision, Buddha Market, Strange Wolf, A W N, The Merchants of Def, The League of Shadowz.
