Kris-Zaga (born Uzoma Christian Nwachukwu; February 25, 1986) is a Nigerian Singer, Songwriter and recording artist based in the United States. Early life Kris-Zaga was born in February 25, 1986 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He grew up in Etche and Igwuruta where he attended primary and secondary school (Amato Community Primary School and BFB Group of Schools) respectively. He graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with Bachelors of Nursing Sciences including Midwifery and Public Health Nursing. Career Kris-Zaga was influenced by his Mother and Father. At 10 years of age, He would play local drums for the women's group in the community and also watches his dad play as a DJ in various funerals, weddings and occasions. He formed a group in the early 2000 "DX Class with M-Josh but split after 4 years and both went solo. Kris-Zaga released his break out single ‘’Cheta ala Etche’’, and Etche’ which made him the first contemporary musician from Etche LGA in Rivers State.
