Krassimira Vidolovska is a self-taught self-promoting Bulgarian artist living on the island of Crete. She was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in 1973 and moved to Chania in 1996. Style Ms. Vidolovska is a contemporary figurative artist whose primary medium is oil on canvas and her style focuses on the human body giving insight to her emotions. She uses strong lighting and deep shadows to convey mystery and a foreboding feeling. Her current collection can be seen at the acclaimed Gallery Online. While her paintings are technically proficient, the stark lighting, the extensive use of black, and the strong subject matter do not lend themselves to universal massx appeal. Her earlier work is with tempera and watercolour and can be found in the Art section (registration required) of . These examples are less forceful in their depictions, but other works of art that were have been sold.
