Knowledge Must is a social enterprise assisting students, professionals, and organisations to cross cultural boundaries between East Asia, South Asia, and the Western world. Since 2007, the organisation provides intercultural solutions from its bases in Germany and India. Area of work Knowledge Must provides intercultural solutions to individuals and organisations that help them to cross cultural boundaries. For this purpose the organisation offers study and work experience, language immersion, culture-specific and process-oriented training, individualised travel arrangements, and intercultural events. Integrated Solutions combine these services into complete intercultural solutions aimed at fostering intercultural understanding among individuals, organisations, communities, and countries. Organisation Knowledge Must maintains offices in India's capital city New Delhi and in Germany's capital Berlin, and has announced to open its China office in 2011. Knowledge Must consists of five divisions, namely Career Must, Language Must, Training Must, Travel Must, and Culture Must. Each of the five divisions focuses its work on a specific field related to cultural exchange. For example, Culture Must connects performers, designers, painters, writers, film makers, photographers, and other artists, thereby creating a platform that cultivates and promotes intercultural collaborations. Projects One of the projects of Knowledge Must's cultural division Culture Must is the Sound Tamasha, which brings musicians, DJs, performers, and other creative minds together to connect across cultures through different forms of musical expressions. Another project are the free guidebooks for doing internships, volunteering, studying, or working among people of another culture, which are licensed as Creative Commons. Knowledge Must also runs a blog providing information for everybody who is interested in cultural exchange, intercultural issues, India / South Asia, China / East Asia, and the Western world.
