Knight of Fire is a persian deathmetal-band formed in Isfahan 1991, under the name Black Swastica. Year 2002 the bandmembers and songwriters Owrang Haghany and Mehr Nadeb escaped to Sweden from persecution, for playing death metal music and writing lyrics which criticized the regime. Their style is fast, brutal and technical, and quite unlike any other metal. It was called "Isfahanian metal" in an interview with BBC Persian. Members * Owrang Haghany - Guitar * Mehr Nadeb - Guitar Former members (Because of the persecutions in Iran against rockmusicers, only the artistic names are listed.) * Mr Moghaser - Base, Drums, Vocals (1991-1994) * 5oon Face - Guitar (1991-1994) Discography Since death metal is illegal in Iran, there are no recordings from the time they were active underground musicers. There are some songs on their website though, free for downloading, which they have recorded with guest artists in Sweden.
