Congressional race for NY-22
Myers is the Democratic Party nominee in the general election for New York's 22nd U.S. House district, facing opponents Republican New York Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney of New Hartford and independent candidate and businessman Martin Babinec of Little Falls. The race is rated a "tossup" by both the Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report and the Cook Political Report, and is among the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's "Red to Blue" campaigns designated as potential U.S. House seat victories for the Democratic Party in 2016.
