Kiley Blades

Kiley "KZA" Blades (born May 21, 1990) is an American rapper and entertainer. He is most usually recognized for his long-standing rap beef with Jonathan Wendt and work in the East Coast underground hip hop scene. He is also noted for his short stint as a hypeman for Vanilla Ice and his presence as a freestyle rap legend of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Early life and influences
Kiley was born on May 21, 1990 with his twin brother William. As a young child, Kiley was exposed to hip hop from a young age through the Black Panther movement. He came to be respected as an activist at the young age of nine and began rapping at the age of ten. His first album, titled "KZAm!", was heavily received and distributed in the Raleigh area of North Carolina.
Career
Music career
As a solo artist, the KZA has released two albums: KZAm! (2005), and Knick Knack's Back (2008). In 2009, he toured nationally with Jonathan "The Jellyman" Wendt despite their long-standing rap beef. He has also performed with New York underground rappers Pumpkinhead (PH) and Jay Electronica.
Cameos
Kiley Blades appears as in extra in the "California Love" video by Tupac Shakur. He also produces and owns a set of instructional work-out videos titled "Phenomenal Hip Hop Abdominals".
