Kid Safe: The Video is an educational documentary teaching kids how to behave in emergency situations. Plot The video goes through Kathy Tudor's(Andrea Martin) time being home alone. While making toast, the toaster starts to smoke, and she sticks a metal fork in the toaster. She gets electrocuted, calls 911, and hangs up right away. The police, fire, and EMT come, and explain to her what she did wrong, and skills for emergencies such as how to call 911, stop drop and roll and the Heimlich meneuver among others. The lessons are done in a song format, and provide the watcher of the video with good techniques for emergency situations.
