Khairi Izwan Abdullah

Assoc. Prof. Khairi Izwan bin Abdullah is a lecturer at the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Management and Human Resource Development at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Malaysia. He possesses a in Linguistics for English Language Teaching from the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom, and has been teaching English for more than 20 years. He is also a teacher trainer and teaches and Second Language Acquisition on Universiti Teknologi Malaysia's undergraduate and postgraduate TESL programmes. He is a founder-member and editor of the journal, ESP Malaysia. He has published articles, mainly in the area of language teaching methodology and , in national and international journals. He was even chosen along with two other English lecturers, Doris Wee and Teo Hwee Bien to design the English Textbook for the Malaysian Form 1 English syllabus which was distributed all over Malaysia.
