KGUBrass is the Ukrainian company, which produces a wide assortment of accessories for wood and brass wind musical instruments.
History
In 2004, one of the founders came up with the idea of trading in musical instruments imported from the United States.
The 2008 crisis left many qualified specialists unemployed and the production units empty. That allowed founders to start its successful collaboration with several hard-working craftsmen on a freelance basis.
In 2011, the company opened its own production of accessories in Kyiv, Ukraine. The main goal was the development and production of original accessories to improve the sound characteristics and appearance of the instrument, as well as products for their daily maintenance.
Since 2015, KGUBrass has been actively presenting its accessories through endorsers, bloggers and famous musicians, including Arturo Sandoval and Sergei Nakariakov.
In 2019, company finally enters the leading markets of the world and becomes a leader in its niche. This year, the company receives the badge and partners with one of the world's largest musical instrument trading platforms, Reverb. Now the company works with wholesale dealers from the UK, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Japan, Poland, and also performs direct shipping all over the world - China, Japan, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.
At the beginning of 2020, KGUBrass participated in the international contest Entrepreneur of the Year, annually held by Payoneer. The company won the Entrepreneurship Award in the nomination “Disruptor of the year” among 3,500 entrepreneurs from 120 countries.
Mid 2020, KGUBrass joined the E-Export school initiative from Ukrposhta "Competitive Economy of Ukraine", which is aimed at preparing Ukrainian small hand-made manufacturers for exporting products.
The story of the founders of the KGUBrass company, Mikhail Kuznetsov and Maxim Gopanchuk, was presented as the first in a series of videos with Ukrainian manufacturers who started their business without large investments, and for whom e-export became the driver of their own business.
