Kernel Capital is an Irish venture capital firm that invests in early stage and growth companies in the technology and life science sectors. Kernel is headquartered in Cork, Ireland, and also has offices in Dublin and Belfast.
About
Kernel Capital are the independent managers of the Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Venture Funds, and are currently one of the largest and most active sources of equity finance for Irish technology companies. To date, Kernel Capital has raised €173m / £145m in venture capital funds, the latest being in 2013.
Since inception Kernel Capital has invested in over 75 companies across the Island of Ireland. Among the firm's 26 exits are:
