This soap opera tells about Mawar was teenager loss her parents. Her Father was imprisoned when she was teenager, while Her Mother was married again, left Mawar with her grandmother. Shinta fell in love with Darmawan, A man who came from a poor family. But their relationship was not blessed by both sides. One day, Shinta knew herself was pregnant. Darmawan was ready to take responsibility. Darmawan and Shinta got married. Shinta gave birth to a girl named Mawar. They lived in luxury. Darmawan decided to stop work temporarily and provide for his family. But when Mawar was a teenager, Darmawan and Shinta got divorced for Darmawan was committing a crime and imprisoned. One day Shinta's parents found Shinta. They brought Shinta and married her with Satria. Shinta did not bring with Mawar with her (Mawar was left with Larasati (Darmawan's Mother)). Who loves Mawar in every way. Mawar worked at a salon which apparently was belonged to Widodo's Mother, INDAH (Nunu Datau). At this salon, Mawar met with her stepsister very strict to her, MAYANG (Hesti Purwadinata). Mayang who also like Widodo is upset and trying to separate Mawar from Widodo. Meanwhile, Shinta suffered disease of kidney was Required to do kidney transplantation.. But no donor was matched. Satria who do not want to lose Shinta, finally He found Mawar for Mawar ask donate a kidney for Shinta .. Larasati is furious when she knew it .. Finally Mawar knew that Shinta is her mother, and actually her mother not deceased yet.. Mawar Shocked.. But since Mawar's goodness of her heart, she was ready for donate a kidney. All person appeared with a happy birthday song for Mawar. There also were Ardiwilaga and Indah. Mutiara gave a song for her mother, Mawar. After that, Mawar was called to the performance and sang a song together. Suddenly there was a band named Letto and they sang a song titled Permintaan Hati. Mawar was happy. All people were singing! Mawar saw Shinta, Teguh, Larasati and Andre on the sky and she waved her hands to all person haf deceased. Widodo, Mawar and Mutiara said THANK YOU, EVERYONE!! THE END. Controversy Kepompong Soap Opera is accused as plagiarsm from South Korean Drama titled . This Soap Opera also has a similar story as Indonesian Soap Opera titled Intan which was aired on RCTI. Although is accused as plagiarsm, Indika Entertainment does not admit and enshrine its original Korean drama in credit title.'credit title.
