KENYA

Kenya is a country found in the east Africa region in Africa. Its capital is a city by the name Nairobi of which is massive in size and covers a wide expanse of land. Nairobi is the only City in the world with a national park. This country has three cities both of the other two are along water bodies but different of them. Kisumu is on the Lake Victoria which is the origin of one of the significant rivers in the world, which is the river Nile. Kenya is rich with animals and resources. The country was hard hit with civil war in the year 2007 in the elections following the accusations for rigging from both sides of the opponents. The United Nations helped in resolving this solution thus the office of the prime minister was created in order to share the power equally. Kenya has a large signifance and glory in the world today in that there runners have gained recognition in the long distance races along with Ethiopia a country bordering Kenya in the north. Kenya has good resorts and hotels to fit the need of the tourists.Thus providing a one time destination for the tourists.
Kenya has a lot of natural features in that it has a variety of mountains the most common being the volcanic mountains the tallest being Mt.Kenya.Maps bring a lot of controversy they tend to draw Mt Kilimanjaro the tallest mountain in Africa,right in the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Kenya has tones of interesting history falling from discovery of the early man like the Zinjathropus, to the prestigious battle for independence.
