Kenneth Brown (; born December 5, 1967) is an American banker and businessman. He the chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of QUASAR, a global commercial real estate private equity firm based in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Early life and education Kenneth Brown was born to Marilyn Kreitman and Dennis Brown of New Jersey. Marilyn Kreitman was a school teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in Harrison, New Jersey. Dennis Brown was a former Lieutenant in the US Army and an operator of his family-owned Frank Brown's Department Store in Carteret, New Jersey. He attained a Bachelors of Arts in Business, Finance and Economics from Rutgers University in 1989. Career JP Morgan Chase Kenneth Brown joined JP Morgan Chase in 1993. Brown was one of the firm's largest producers, being publicly noted to have solely produced over half a billion dollars in loans in between 2001 and 2006. QUASAR After retiring from JP Morgan Chase, Brown founded a global commercial real estate private equity firm called QUASAR in 2008. Personal Kenneth Brown is a resident of Montgomery County, Maryland. Brown holds a private pilot license and owns a fixed wing single-engine Piper Malibu Mirage. Brown sits on the Executive Board of Chase Your Dreams Academy, a non-profit belonging to Former WNBA player Sonia Chase.
