Ken Rogers

Ken Rogers, Easley, SC, USA. (b-1942, Washington County, Georgia) a musicologist, record producer living in upstate South Carolina. Ken Rogers worked in radio broadcasting while a teenager at WQOK-AM radio, Greenville, SC in 1958 and 1959. Ken worked at WAPE Radio, Jacksonville, FL in the early 60's while attending college, learning much about the radio and record promotion business from WAPE station manager, Dan Brennan and Sheldon Summerlin. Ken attended Jacksonville University, Anderson College and Clemson University.
From 1969 to 1992 Ken Rogers was employed by Multimedia Radio Station WFBC-FM and AM . Greenville, SC as Music Director, Program Director and Operations Manager.
In 1989, Ken Rogers and partner Leighton Grantham, began a syndicated radio program called . which was broadcast on over 50 radio stations throughout the Southeastern USA. The program featured music and interviews from the legends of early rock'n roll and rhythm and blues and
was awarded a MUSIC AWARDS in 1994 as best R&B syndicated radio program.
Today, Ken and his wife Pat are owners of Rogers Child Care Centers of South Carolina and Ken is a music consultant to ROLLERCOASTER RECORDS ., London,England, ACE RECORDS LTD., London,England, COLLECTABLES RECORDINGS, USA.
Ken now lives in Easley, SC and Flat Rock, NC with his wife Pat.
