Ken Krawchuk is the Libertarian candidate for Governor in the Pennsylvania Gubernatorial 2018 election. He is an IT consultant and owns his own firm. He has been a political activist since 1993 and previously served in the Libertarian Party as a candidate and an official. He has run for Governor of Pennsylvania in 1998 and 2002. He placed 3rd out of 5 candidates seeking the Vice Presidential nomination of the Libertarian Party in 2000. He declared his intent to run for President under the Libertarian Party in 2003, but had to withdraw due to professional conflicts. He ran for US Congress in 2000, Pennsylvania State Representative in 1994 and 2012, and Abington Town Comissioner in 1995, 1997, 2001, and 2005. Krawchuk is also a freelance writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer and has written a book called "Atlas Snubbed". He graduated with honors from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1971, and in 1975 received a B.S. in Physics from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Additionally, Krawchuk is a graduate of the Abington Citizens' Police Academy.
