Kelly Tran

Kelly Tran (born May 20, 1980) is an Asian American and beauty pageant titleholder who held the Ms United States America International 2013 title.
Biography
Kelly Tran (born May 20, 1980) was crowned Ms. United States America International 2013-2014) in Pasadena. Kelly’s past pageant tiles include: Mrs. Alhambra International), Mrs. Vietnam Los Angeles, 3rd Runner Up at Mrs. Asia USA, 1st Runner Up at Mrs. Vietnam Global and Ms. Nevada Woman of Achievement.
Kelly Tran was born and raised in Vietnam and moved to the United States in 1993. She is the oldest child in her family and has one younger sister and one younger brother. Her father was a business man importing quality seafood into the United States and her mother was a primary school teacher in her native country of Vietnam until the entire family moved to the States. She was honored to become a U.S. Citizen and was naturalized in 1998.
In the twenty years that Kelly has resided in the United States she modeled for Alluring Models Agency, and has maintained a professional career modeling in commercials as well as in print fashion when her time permitted. Her primary work focus has been in the financial service industry, where her current job is a Wells Fargo Bank Underwriter.
During her spare time, Kelly volunteers for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Losing her aunt in a battle of breast cancer, Kelly dedicates her free time to raise awareness and support to finding a cure for this disease. She is also active with other local charity events within the Asian community in Nevada assisting with homeless families and financial aid to families in need.
Kelly also volunteers teaching Vietnamese at the local Catholic Church on Sundays and she also is an active member of her church choir. Her husband currently serves in the United States Marines Corp and they have been married for 10 years.
Her goal, as Ms United States America International is to continue volunteering with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation by educating women in the Asian community about early prevention and has been asked to serve as an International Ambassador for the organization.
Kelly’s advice to the younger generation is: “Never give up hope, live your dream, know your dream and don’t be afraid to follow your heart.”
