Professional wrestling career
Skater made her pro-wrestling debut in March 2007 for New Aussie Wrestling (in a battle royale), after having trained for two months. She has been a part of PWA Australia's sister federation, the Pro Wrestling Women's Alliance (PWWA), since the very beginning in July 2007. Said company crowned their first ever champion in a 'Lumberjill Match' in May 2008, pitting Skater against fellow Victorian wrestler, Vixsin. Skater won the match and the title. On August 2, 2008, Skater lost the PWWA Championship, to Jessie McKay. McKay was a substitute for Penni Lane, who couldn't make it to the show due to travel issues.
Also in May 2008, Skater made her debut for PWA Queensland, defeating Jessie McKay and Sway at the second annual 'Rise of the Warriors' tournament. It was from there she began an undefeated streak, defeating any women that stepped in her way. Seemingly taking up an issue with Sway , the two battled it out for months in various types of matches, including a Falls Count Anywhere match , and a 'Bacchus Marsh Street Fight' , both of which Skater won. Finally, Sway got the upper-hand of their feud in April 2009, defeating Skater in a bloody Last Woman Standing match. Skater wrestled McKay on Night 2 of the third 'Rise of the Warriors' event in May 2009. Sway appeared towards the end of the match, and both girls were seemingly confused as to whom she was there to help. Sway then turned heel on McKay and attacked her, helping Skater win the match. The two showed a mutual respect for one another after months of beating the other up, and joined forces in May 2009, becoming the two female members of "The Brotherhood" (also featuring Skater's boyfriend Mason Childs, Mark Davis and Sway's boyfriend Sorrow).
In December 2008 Sara Del Rey made her way over to Australia to debut for PWA Queensland. The victor of the 'Bacchus Marsh Street Fight' in November got an opportunity to face Del Rey at the PWAQ 'Summer Reign 2008' event. Since Skater won, the two wrestled each other on the show, with Skater pulling out the sneak victory!
Skater competed in the eight-woman Queen of the Warriors tournament for PWAQ on February 22, 2009. As Vida Loca withdrew from the tournament, she received a bye through the first-round. In the second-round, she stole the victory from Sway by countout, then had her undefeated streak broken by Tenille Tayla in the final round. Tayla became the first-ever Queen of the Warriors winner.
Skater also made her debut and competed on the May 2009 SHIMMER tapings. On Volume 23 she laid out an open challenge to the roster, which was answered by LuFisto. On Volume 24, she defeated fellow Australian wrestler Jessie McKay with a roll-up and holding the tights, and on Volume 25, lost a four-way match including Cat Power, Rachel Summerlyn and Ariel. On Volume 26, it was a similar fashion where she lost a four-way match which also included McKay, Melanie Cruise and Jennifer Blake.
