Keith Mathis

Dr. D. Keith Mathis (born June 15, 1956) is an international speaker, trainer, consultant, author and professor on management and leadership. Mathis authored numerous training programs as well as magazine and newspaper articles. His books, 21 Deadly Project Management Mistakes and How to Avoid Them and Dinosaur Tracks: Modern Leadership Strategies for Changing Employee Performance and Behavior, were published by Equippers Press International in 2011 and 2004, respective. He has over 9,000 presentations in his speaking repertoire.
Biography
Mathis holds a B.A. in Behavioral Science from National Louis University, St. Louis, MO, a M.S. in Management and Business from National Louis University, St. Louis, MO, and a Ph.D. in Administration Management with a specialty in Human Resources, Organizational Development & Behavior from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN. He also received his Certified On-Line Instructor certificate from Walden Institute, Minneapolis, MN. He has been a Registered Global Education Provider of Project Management Institute since 2003, received his Project Management Professional certification in 2007, and received his PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification in 2011. He has also held a General Services Administration government contract since 2001, a multi-year contract with the State of Missouri since 2005, and a multi-year contract with the State of Kansas since 2008.
Mathis has been an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for their MBA degree since 1995 teaching Consulting, Public Speaking, Total Quality, Project Management, Management, Communication, Customer Value, Leadership, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Planning, and Group Dynamics. He is an adjunct professor for Liberty University's MBA program teaching Entrepreneurship and at DeVry University teaching Project Management. He was an adjunct professor at National Louis University in St. Louis, MO for two years teaching Adult Development, Public Speaking, Business Communication, Business Leadership, Organizational Consulting, Group Dynamics, and Consulting.

Personal
