The Kegel Male Trainer (Kegel Male Exercise Trainer) is a male Kegel exercise device patterned after the exercises of the physician Arnold Kegel. It is a weight resistance trainer device (not to be considered a sex toy) which focuses on the PC muscles. Its creator and inventor, Al Dana, designed the device using Leonardo DaVinci's Vitruvian Man as its prototype, in order to find a remedy for male urinary incontinence, premature ejaculation, and weak erections. Mechanics of the Device The Kegel Male Trainer uses one to four low-weight, calibrated, polished steel ball bearings (from 2.5 - 10 ounces) and focuses on the Pubococcygeus muscle (PC muscle) which controls the stream of urine and is central to Kegel exercise theory. It also targets the Ischiocavernosus and Bulbocavernosus muscles connected to the penis. Patent History The Kegel Male Trainer holds two U.S. Federal patents with 15 irrefutable claims. A University of NOVA adjunct professor prosecuted a pioneering patent for the device.
