Katalyst Global is a sourcing and outsourcing company. The company was founded in 2004 by Brian Neilson and McSean Thompson in Salt Lake City, Utah. Its primary goal is to assist small and medium sized businesses with their sourcing and outsourcing needs.

Overview

Katalyst Global was founded in 2004 to help small and medium sized businesses stay competitive in the global economy by offering sourcing and outsourcing solutions such as; professional guidance on products to outsource, inventory management, and finding locations to outsource product manufacturing to. In addition, Katalyst Global offers assistance in selecting a manufacturing partner, contract brokering, and relationship management.

Katalyst Global is a U.S. based company with current offices in the United States and in Asia.

Founders

Brian Neilson
Mr. Neilson has extensive experience in the outsourcing industry. He has spent years of service working for a leading outsourcing agency and has assisted that company to join the Fortune 500. With his experience he has been involved in every aspect of engaging in outsourcing relationships, from selling and solution design to execution and implementation. His experience has included negotiations with many Fortune 100 companies from a wide range of industries. With his tenure in the outsourcing industry he has gained insight on trends concerning locations, functions, and processes. This experience will be invaluable in establishing contractual agreements, managing relationships with factories and clientele, and remaining a pioneer in the industry with innovative and flexible solutions for any type of client.

McSean Thompson
Mr. Thompson has years of experience working with foreign enterprises. During his two years working for the Salt Lake Olympic Committee he was able to establish a global network. Within this network are contacts from China to Italy and from Mexico to Liberia. In subsequent years he has had the opportunity to foster these relationships and develop many others. Mr. Thompson has years of experience working for a very successful business that utilized the services of an outsource broker to purchase product from foreign factory. He has the unique perspective of knowing exactly what the clientele needs from a broker and liaison when purchasing from a foreign factory.
