Karolina (painter)

Carol Wells (Boston, 1939), or KAROLINA, or ΚΑΡΟΛΙΝΑ (her signature), is a naïve painter of Mykonos. She was born in the United States and since she was 23 years old she has lived in Mykonos, painting the sights of Mykonos and selling her works to tourists.
She was born on 25 December 1939, in Boston and studied at Concord Academy, Colorado College, and the Boston School of Fine Arts. in its capture of the simplicity of Greek life, and she was an inspiration for a short story by Peter Selgin, as well as a poem by Neil Meili.
