late shri KARIMBIL KUNHI KOMEN GURUKKAL: the first man in independent kerala to have filed a case in supreme court against the Land Reform Act. the first man in independent kerala to have had more than 15,000 acres of land. Karimbil Kunhi Koman had given hundreds of acres of land free of cost to the backward sections of the society.
