Karen Liot Hill

Karen Liot Hill is an elected official, business owner, and radio personality in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She has served on the Lebanon City Council since 2005. Councilor Hill also served as Mayor of Lebanon from 2008-2009. In 2016, she was elected as the Grafton County Treasurer. While in office, Councilor Hill:
* Spearheaded the City's first-ever strategic planning process in 2006
* Worked on the Westboro Yard Downtown Revitalization Project
* Served as a liaison to the Energy Committee, CATV Board, and the Grafton County Economic Development Council
* Organized sessions for Leadership Upper Valley on Government and Politics
* Served as a member of the Master Plan Steering Committee overseeing the Zoning Update
Education
Councilor Hill completed her bachelor's degree with Honors in Government at Dartmouth College. She is a member of the class of 2000.
Community Engagement
In addition to her civic leadership, Councilor Hill has also served as a pianist and song leader at First Baptist Church of Lebanon, a board member of WISE of the Upper Valley and Vital Communities, and a volunteer for the Lebanon Outing Club. She was also recognized as one of New Hampshire's "40 Under 40" in 2010.
Personal and Family Life Karen Liot Hill is married to Andy Hill, co-owner of the Lebanon Diner, a Lebanon native, and Lebanon High School graduate. She has two daughters, Marina, 17, in 12th grade at Lebanon High School and recently admitted member of the Dartmouth College class of 2021, and Zoe, 10, a 5th grader at Lebanon Middle School.
