Karen Friedman

Karen (née Friedman) Hill (born 1947) is one of the three daughters of a Jewish family in Five Towns in Nassau County. She is best known as being portrayed by Lorraine Bracco in the 1990's classic crime drama GoodFellas and for being married to infamous mobster Henry Hill. In 1965 she was working as a dental hygienist. She met her husband and infamous mobster Henry Hill in 1965 with her friend Sharpio on a double date with Paul Vario Jr.
After four months of dating they eloped on August 29, 1965. They lived with Karen's parents for a while in a converted upstairs bedroom suite. They officially separated in 1989 and the divorce was finalized in 2002.
Karen and Henry raised two children, Gregg and Gina, first in New York and later in various locations while they were in the Witness Protection Program, including Nebraska, Kentucky, and Washington.
Today she lives under a new name and runs her own business.
