Kamal Uddin

Kamal Uddin is Bangladeshi statistician, professor, educationalist and researcher. He is a prominent professor of Statistics Department in Islamic University, Bangladesh. He was initially the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University, Bangladesh. He has been working in this university for a long time. He was the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Islamic University from 2009 to 2013. He is currently the president of the Islamic University Teachers' Association (IUTA).
Career
After finishing his educational career, he join the Islamic University, Bangladesh as a lecturer. After become professor, he appoint chairman in his Statistics Department. In 2009 he was appoint Pro-VC of IU, when vice-chancellor was Professor M. Alauddin. In 2013, he and M Alauddin were removed from the posts of pro vice-chancellor and vice-chancellor for alleged irregularities in recruitment.
In 2013, he was the target of a gun attack, however, he was not harmed.
He was elected president of the Islamic University Teachers' Association (IUTA) in 2019. He was selected for Erasmus Training in Turkey at Çankırı Karatekin University in 2021, and went there more three professor of Islamic University, Bangladesh.
