Justin Pruchard (born May 6th, 1974 in Cologne,Germany)is a retired German ice hockey forward that played in the National Hockey 8 times.When growing he lived in Berlin for his childhood life then he moved to Munich for high school 4 years. Then he went to Ripon College. When in college he played for Ripon Spitfires a college hockey team than he was drafted 16th for Eisbaren Berlin played for them two years then he played for the Hartford Whalers 6 years then he played for the Tampa Bay Lighting for 1 years, he played his last game in the NHL with the Washington Capitals and then went back to Germany to played for the DEL for Hanover Scorpions for two years.He won 10 Stanley cups. He won 8 MVP award und was in 3 Olympic game Then he retarited und was equipment manager for Eisbaren Berlin.He was captain 7 times and alternate captain 3 times. He played with Ron Francis on Hartford Whalers,Uwe Krupp, Marco Strum and Olaf Kolzig on German National Hockey team .He would be remember with the nickname as Thrasher number #21. He is now in the German Hall of Fame.Now works as a hockey coach for Ripon Spitfires.
