Justin Kuykendall born September 24, 1972 is an American internet entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Pulpo Media, an online media services company he founded in 2008 headquartered in Berkeley, California, and focussing on Hispanic and Spanish-speaking audiences both inside and outside the United States. Education He has a double B.A. in International Relations and Latin American Studies, and completed his Masters and PhD coursework at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. Career Prior to founding Pulpo Media, Justin served as Vice President of Tribal Fusion’s Publisher Network, where he led the company to become the second largest advertising network. He has over a decade of marketing, business development and campaign management experience, having managed online campaigns for hundreds of companies including Monster, Verizon Wireless, Google, and Microsoft. Before joining Tribal Fusion and Exponential, Justin managed marketing and advertising programs at Ask.com (IAC) and Wind River (Intel). He has also consulted for top online publishers, including properties acquired by AOL and eBay, to help them grow traffic and revenue through his SEO, SEM and display advertising expertise. Mr. Kuykendall sits on the advisory boards of leading online advertising and media companies including Pubmatic, Turn, Komli, Buscacorp, and Technorati. Awards Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Personal life Justin was born in Washington State and grew up in Omak, WA on the Colville Indian Reservation and later in California. Justin has lived and worked throughout Latin America and Spain over the past 20 years. His wife is from Spain and they have 2 sons.
