These include Judo and Daido from Japan; Haw Rang Do, Kuk Sool Won and Hapkido from Korea; Chin Na, Tai Chi and Shuai Chiao from China; Arnis and Eskrima from the Philippines; and Kalaripayit from India.
Seibukan Jujutsu strives to provide both self-defense training and personal development for its participants, cartering to "the modern day warrior".
Seibukan Jujutsu, like Hakko Ryti Jujutsu, makes use of a variety of joint-locks, arm-bars and throws, as well as strikes and kicks. Seibukan Jujutsu training furthermore includes both defense from, and use of, weapons such as the knife, Jo staff, Bokken practice sword, Katana, rope, and gun.
Former Uchideshi (resident student) Roy Dean wrote a book about his time training in Seibukan Jujutsu with Julio Toribio. It is downloadable from Roy Dean's own dojo website.
