Juliet Evelyn Schmidt is an American attorney, and deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County, California. She is known for representing the County in many high publicity cases. Educational background In 1984, Schmidt graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in English. In 1987, she graduated with a Juris Doctor from University of California, Berkeley. At age 24, she passed the California State Bar. Professional background After Schmidt passed the State Bar, she joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. She has worked on various high publicity cases in the District Attorney's Public Integrity Section. Prominent cases include the City of Bell scandal, the resignation of Inglewood mayor Roosevelt F. Dorn, and the prosecution of Los Angeles trial attorney Pierce O'Donnell. Schmidt has appeared in numerous articles in The Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, LA Daily News, and Metropolitan News-Enterprise.
