Judy Endow

Judy Endow is an American autism advocate.
Biography
Judy Endow lives in Wisconsin and has three adult sons, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. As a child, Endow was institutionalized and received many diagnoses that she felt didn't fully explain her experiences. She was diagnosed as autistic in late life, on the same day as her son's diagnosis. She describes the diagnosis as a "relief," as it explained what she hadn't understood before.
Endow has a Master's degree in social work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has a private practice in Madison, Wisconsin and works as a resource specialist for autism services at the Common Threads Family Resource Center in McFarland, Wisconsin. She has contributed to Spectrum Life Magazine. Her blog, Aspects of Autism Translated, was voted one of the "2017 Best Autism Resources on the Web" by The Art of Autism, a nonprofit organization that features autistic creative endeavours.
