JGH Online JGH Online is The Journal of Global Health's web publication, consisting of the GlobalThink Forum (GTF) and the Columnists Project. Modeled after The New York Times' Room for Debate, the GlobalThink Forum (GTF) calls on undergraduates to make short essay arguments in response to provocative global health questions. WIth writers and submissions representing over 25 institutions spanning 5 countries, GTF seeks to spark productive exchange on controversial topics in global health. The JGH Columnists Project calls on undergraduates and graduate student researchers and activists to respond quickly to time-sensitive issues by writing monthly columns that are published online. Select columns and GTF essays are published on JGH Online. Note The journal is not to be confused with "Journal of Global Health" published by Edinburgh University Global Health Society (which is available online at www.jogh.org). This UK-based journal was also launched independently in 2011 at the occasion of 19th World Congress of Epidemiology (http://www.epidemiology2011.com/), organised by International Epidemiological Association (http://www.ieaweb.org/). The launch was recorded in the official Programme of the meeting (http://www.epidemiology2011.com/programme.html).
