Josiah Leming

Josiah Donald Leming (born March 26, 1989 in Morristown, Tennessee) is an American singer-songwriter who was a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol.

Early years
Josiah Leming was born in the small rural town of Morristown in eastern Tennessee. The second oldest of nine children, he has four brothers and four sisters. At the age of 8, Leming began playing the piano. Leming began writing his own music around the age of 13, began performing locally shortly thereafter, and learned to play the guitar, bass, and drums. For a time, he worked at a Chick-fil-A fast food restaurant.

After Idol
Leming caught the attention of millions, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Access Hollywood, Extra, Vote for the Worst and Magic 95 FM, who gifted him a new car. Leming is now negotiating record deals After being cut from American Idol he moved back in with his parents and is hoping to find a place of his own in California.
Leming released a video to his fans of his 'Idol' favorite, "Grace Kelly" by Mika. He also sang a song with Chris Merritt for an international release called, "Anything Beautiful".
