Joshua Ferdinand

Joshua Ferdinand (born 25 January 1989, in Portsmouth, England) is a British actor.
Biography
Joshua Ferdinand was born in Portsmouth on 25 January 1989. His father Keith Ferdinand was the 1983 ABA Super heavyweight champion. Ferdinand studied acting under Pippa Guard between 2009 and 2012 where he gained a BA in Drama at the University of Greenwich. Where he also ran for NUS Delegate as well as another position, were he used the slogan 'here we can'.
Ferdinand started onstage and has appeared as Orsino in Twelfth Night 2012 at Bathway Theatre, yet moved into film before graduating drama school. He portrayed a US Marine in Captain America: The First Avenger. His productions include The Empire a Star Wars and parody. Ferdinand also appeared as a Commuter in Skyfall, Ray in Time and Time Again, and on television he has appeared in cameo as the barman in Deep Cuts. He gained a PGCE at Anglia Ruskin University while appearing as a Young Teacher in Spotless. He is also known as the founding Artistic Director at Education not Limited (Formerly known as The Academic Group).
