Josh Romney (born 1975), son of Mitt Romney, is a real estate developer for Romney Ventures. He earned his BA from Brigham Young University in 2000 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2005. Business career Like his father, Josh Romney started his career in the private sector. Romney has spent much of his time working in real estate, both as an Acquisition Analyst for Intercontinental Real Estate and as the owner of Romney Ventures. In addition, Romney was also a Worldwide Manager for Interpublic Sports & Entertainment Group and a manager for the Gardner Company. Political career Josh Romney played a key role in , devoting much of his time early on campaigning in Iowa on behalf of his father. Romney visited each county in Iowa in a Winnebago coined the "Mitt Mobile," gaining media coverage nationwide. Romney also made numerous speeches and media appearances in many other states, including Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Alaska, and Montana. In a February 25, 2008 article in the Deseret Morning News, Josh Romney discussed the possibility of running against incumbent Democrat Jim Matheson for Representative of Utah's 2nd congressional district. While Romney was considered a serious contender, it was later announced that he decided not to run. On September 17, 2009, Romney was named National Business Recruitment Policy Advisor for the Governor's Office of Economic Development by Governor Gary R. Herbert. Personal life Romney and his wife, Jen, live in East Millcreek, Utah with their two children, Gracie and Wyatt. Romney is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
