Josh Copeland is a American mixed martial arts fighter. He currently fights as a heavyweight in the Russian Cagefighting Championship. He has previously fought for Professional Fighters League, UFC and WSOF. Mixed martial arts career Copeland was cut from the UFC in 2015, after losing both of his fights for that organization. Copeland revealed to media that he was making $8,000 to show and $8,000 to win. Copeland was cut by Professional Fighters League after pleading guilty to second-degree assault on May 14th, 2019. He previously reached the finals of PFL’s $1 million season, where he suffered a fourth-round technical knockout loss to Philipe Lins in the organization’s championship on Dec. 31, 2018.
