A move to Spain
On Joseph's arrival to Spain, Joseph had been fortunate to make contact with a well established basketball association currently known as Unicaja. Joseph managed to gain a trial period to be assessed on his skills and once confirmed by Los Guindos management Joseph was allowed to train with the Junior Unicaja Basketball Team until the end of the season of 2007 - 2008.
Having unsuccessfully gaining a position with the Unicaja second team currently known as Clinicas Rincon Axarquia, Joseph was then asked to play for a team in Malaga known as CB Torremolinos under a coach Javier who previously had assisted coaching the Unicaja Junior's.
During the season of 2008 - 2009 Joseph had helped make cub history by help CB Torremolinos qualify for the play-offs for the first time in their club history.
