Joseph Crisalli

Joseph Crisalli is an author, historian, artist and Punch and Judy "Professor" best known for his novel, The Garnet Red and his website about history, the arts and humanities, "Stalking the Belle Époque." Crisalli began his career as a producer's assistant on the PBS television program, "Wishbone" and also notably worked as Stage Manager on the made-for-television movie, "Dallas: War of the Ewings." His work as a theatrical set designer was reviewed in 2001 by the Dallas Observer. Crisalli's main area of focus as a historian is British history from the reign of King George III to Queen Elizabeth II with a specialization in the lives of Queen Victoria and Mary of Teck.
Previously, Crisalli worked in education publishing for the children's religion market, writing stories and plays. During this period, he illustrated the book, "Pump the Bear" as well as "The Emeritus Peabody Mysteries" and "The Turnip War" which he co- authored with Dennis Manning.
Crisalli is a resident of McKinney, Texas, where he is active in historical preservation.
